Discover Jaisalmer, beyond the tourist map.
Three things bring people to the Thar — a fort people still live inside, dunes that go quiet at dusk, and a camel that knows the way. We run all three ourselves.

Why Book Your Jaisalmer Trip With Us
Discover Jaisalmer has been arranging Jaisalmer tour packages since 2016. We were started by a Jaisalmer local who grew up in sight of the Golden Fort and a Gurugram-based traveller who never quite left. Between us we plan every trip personally, so you deal with the people actually running your desert safari — not a reseller.
Over 1,500 travellers have booked with us, most through word of mouth. Whether you want a Jaisalmer honeymoon package, a family trip with kids, or a solo desert escape, the itinerary is built around what you want to see rather than a fixed template. We handle desert camp bookings at Sam Sand Dunes, sunset camel safaris, fort and haveli walks, and Jodhpur-to-Jaisalmer taxi transfers.

What is the best time to visit Jaisalmer?
October to March is the best time to visit Jaisalmer. Days are pleasant for fort sightseeing and desert safaris, and nights at the Sam Sand Dunes are cool. December and January are peak season and get genuinely cold after dark, so pack layers. April to June is peak summer heat and best avoided for full-day outdoor plans.
How many days are enough for a Jaisalmer trip?
Two nights and three days covers Jaisalmer comfortably — one day for Jaisalmer Fort and the havelis, one for the desert safari and an overnight camp at Sam Sand Dunes, plus a relaxed departure day. Three nights suits you better if you also want Kuldhara village, Khaba Fort or the Lodurva Jain temples.
What does a Jaisalmer desert camp package include?
A standard Jaisalmer desert camp package includes tent accommodation at Sam Sand Dunes, a sunset camel safari, jeep dune bashing, Rajasthani folk music and dance, dinner and breakfast. Tent options range from Swiss tents with shared bathrooms to luxury AC tents with private bathrooms.
How much does a Jaisalmer tour package cost?
The cost of a Jaisalmer tour package depends on your duration, the number of travellers, and whether you choose budget, comfort or premium accommodation. Use the free trip planner above for an instant estimate, then message us on WhatsApp for an exact quote with current availability.
How do I reach Jaisalmer from Jodhpur or Jaipur?
Jaisalmer is roughly a 5-hour drive from Jodhpur and about 10 hours from Jaipur. There are direct trains from Jodhpur, Jaipur and Delhi, and Jaisalmer Airport operates seasonal flights. We arrange Jodhpur to Jaisalmer taxi transfers and railway station pickups as part of any package.
Is Jaisalmer safe for solo travellers and families?
Yes. Jaisalmer is one of Rajasthan's more relaxed tourist cities and is widely considered safe for solo travellers, couples and families with children. Our desert camps are staffed overnight, and all transfers use private vehicles with our own drivers rather than shared pickups.
